Hi Trendsetters! My name in Renée and I have been chosen by Trendy Couture’s fabulicious CEO Yasmine to be Trendy Couture’s primary Fashionista journalist/ blogger. I am so honoured to be given this opportunity and hope to bring trendsetters like you the best Trendy Couture has to offer!

Before you ask “Who is this Trendy Couture Journalist Renee?” Read up below:

I am a twenty-something fashion lover residing in Vancouver, Canada. I was born and raised here, but my family is originally from the beautiful island of Barbados, West Indies. I have always had a strong love for fashion starting at a young age. I remember purchasing my first fashion magazine at the age of 10! Currently I work in the health care industry, but I was excited to be asked to be a part of such an innovative, young, creative fashion styling company. Yasmine first took me under her Trendy wing in July 2010, bringing me on as a potential model. I have since started working as one of her Executive Assistants as well as a blogger for her beautiful styling company. Here’s a few more cute little trivia about me:

Likes: Fashion, photography, music, science, writing, travel, dance, creativity, smiles.

Dislikes: Close-minded people, Crocs, bad teeth, egos.

My Style: West Coast comfort with a splash of West Indian colour. I love leggings, hot heels, dressy hoodies, big earrings, big rings, bright lip gloss, and leather jackets

Favorite Food: I love food, so it is hard to pick one thing. I love seafood, popcorn, Caribbean dishes, the list goes on…

Favorite City: It would have to be a tie between NYC and Bridgetown, Barbados. Both cities have captured my heart…

Favorite Music: I love hip hop, R&B, soca, and dancehall

Favorite Trendy bag: Without a doubt, the Scarlett O’Hara. It’s bold, sexy, big, and sassy. Makes a statement without saying a word…
